Meta Facebook and Instagram are down everywhere throughout the world.Around 8:16 p.m. PST, a real-time internet and social media outage and monitoring service, announced that all of the Meta-owned social media sites were down globally.
Every time a user attempted to visit Instagram, the notice “Something went wrong” would appear, preventing them from viewing the information on the picture-sharing platform.
Users found they were logged out of Facebook and Messenger, causing their login sessions to expire. When they tried to enter Facebook, a pop-up stating that “an unexpected error occurred” had displayed, and they were “unable to log in” again.
